SA: New contract awarded for rail line
ADELAIDE, Jan 14 AAP - A South Australian company has won a $60 million contract tosupply and maintain rolling stock for the new $1.3 billion Alice Springs to Darwin railline.
EDI Rail, based in Pt Augusta, will provide four diesel-electric locomotives and 150articulated flat top container wagons to be used on the rail link.
The company will also provide a maintenance service for the next 10 years.
