NSW: Early bus and train services running for Dawn Service
Special train and bus services will operate from 3am (AEST) tomorrow to get people
to the ANZAC Day Dawn Service and parade in the Sydney centre.
A Department of Transport spokesman says there will be road closures and special event
clearways in the city for most of the day, so people should leave their cars at home.
He says free travel will be provided to service personnel and veterans in uniform,
displaying medals or carrying an authority letter from an RSL branch.
This will also apply to widows, children and grandchildren of veterans displaying medals
or carrying an RSL authority letter.
Ferries will operate to a regular Sunday timetable.
The dawn service in Martin Place will begin at 4.30am.
